A friend turned me onto Neighbors, and I now always look forward to whenever a little (1) appears next to the icon in my podcast app. The stories are told with real empathy, and the tellers don't shy away from tough subjects such as funerals and homelessness. Some of my favorite episodes are definitely in the Sans Houses series, which tells the stories of homeless individuals in a very honest and humanizing way.
Neighbors bridges the gap that can sometimes seem a fathomless divide, shaking a sense of complacency and of security, though with the effect of filling hearts with more caring rather than more fear.
